Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi Collie

Don't be afraid! The hunger pangs do come but if you ignore them, they go away again. The first couple of fasts can make you feel a little odd and you may get a headache, especially if you don't drink enough. However, soon fast days become really easy and the weight starts to drop off.

Do keep us updated with your progress!

Did you eat a breakfast the day after your fast - and do you normally have a breakfast? If you skipped breakfast after your fast and were hungry by lunchtime that's probably why! You should just eat as normal on your non fast days, and try not to do 2 fasts in a row :)
