First Post - Hello!

Hello, I found that this had been set up on twitter this morning, and here I am! :) . I bought the book on Thursday and was really amazed at the benefits which seem to be possible....

I fully intend to do this but am off on a 'once in a lifetime' all inclusive holiday in 2weeks, so am just continuing my careful eating until we get back. I've been on a low carb woe for around 4mths and have lost just under a stone and lost a dress size, feel much more in control of myself too, although struggle when 90% dark choc is wafted under my nose!

I'm actually happy with the weight loss I'm achieving and love the foods I eat, for me the promise of such researched health benefits is what draws me to this plan.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone,

Welcome! I can't wait to hear about your holiday :-) The great thing about those all inclusive resorts is that they have plenty of healthy foods too, and often tables overflowing with gorgeous fresh fruits. I can remember one I went to in Jamaica and the fruit was just so unbelievable. It would have cost a fortune to put that sort of fruit out where I live.

I was thinking the same about the buffets with fruit!

And I also have the same weakness for GOOD chocolate ... can't be bothered with the stuff thats sickly milk and full of sugar and my top tip is to break up squares of the proper stuff, put it in a ziplock bag in the freezer and get out 1 square at a time.

It's amazing how long it will last if you just allow it to melt instead of just nomming it all. They way it coats your mouth makes you feel like you've eaten lots more than you actually have and it's a mental challenge to try not to chew ... like eating a doughnut without licking sugar off your lips.
