It's been a long day!

Hi. I'm new on here. I'm into my 2nd week on the 5:2 diet. Not sure how much I've lost yet, as I failed to weigh myself at the start DOH!! Very annoying. But my weight last Friday (after 2 fasting days) was 10st 9lb. So, tomorrow is my next weigh in. No idea what to expect really, but my face looks less chubby!!
Today has been a very long day. I tried to stick it out all day and just have 1 meal at night, but I'm not sure that worked for me. I feel hungry now, so I'm going to go to bed soon and have an early night....ready for my Birthday tomorrow!! Definitely a non-fasting day tomorrow for me :-) Looking forward to some Birthday cake

happy birthday yoyodieter!!! have you tried having 2 meals on your fast days- seems to work quite well for my partner and myself with no hunger!!! do you have regular fast days? ursula

Hi ujs. Yes, last week I had a late lunch (soup) and then tea (stirfry) at 7pm. I worked OK, but I thought I'd just see if I could manage through the day without anything, and then have a larger tea. It was OK, but the day dragged. I think I need to have a plan insitu to keep me on my toes, and busy busy busy on a fast day. My regular fast days (at the mo) are Monday & Thursday.

Anyway......drum roll....first 'proper' weigh in today and I've lost 1 lb yippeeee! No idea how, as I really did eat loads on my non-fasting days ;-) So, thats a nice Birthday present to myself today ;-) Now, where's that Birthday cake??? ;-)
