For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi
I started the 5:2 Fast Diet 3 weeks ago and have completed 6 fasting days.
I manage to lose 3 lbs in the first week which was great. In the second week there was no loss and now the third week I've somehow managed to put back on 1lb! I'm a bit disappointed.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Domino

Yes, there are a few threads on this subject. Weight does vary enormously from day to day so if you weigh yourself on an up day it doesn't look so good. Check your waist measurement...its a more reliable indicator! Bet next week you will have lost some!

I did take my measurements when I started but haven't since.
