Just started...

Hello,

I watched this with my partner the other day and we decided that it would work for us and so we just started - the question is, can we skip breakfast and just have lunch and dinner and then fast until lunch the following day? or is it better to have breakfast and dinner? Thanks!

Personally I find it easier to just go all day and eat a meal at around 5.30. If I eat something in the morning it just seems to increase my appetite and makes the whole day a battle of wills with my inner glutton :-) I hope you enjoy it - Im only on my second fast day (1st week) today so early days!

Thanks - I think that I will stick to how I started as it will literally be my second day tomorrow. I have to say tho, that I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to ignore the pains! :D

We all find a way to do this that suits us as individuals, as there seems to be little research into how best to split the calories. I think we're all having pretty good results however we do it. Personally I find it easiest to save most of my cals for dinner, although I did start on lunch & dinners, the lunch just made me really hungry for the rest of the afternoon. Now I find it really easy to go through until dinner time.

I think the flexibilty makes this so easy ... theres guidelines to follow but what you eat and when you eat it is up to you and what fits in with your life and those around you.

With most diets it's like somebody is stood over you shouting that you can't eat that at all, you can't eat that now, you can't eat cake ... yes, I can but just not for another few hours ;)
