How do I feel? Fabulous! Just looking in the mirror confirms the big difference. I have lost most of the flab round the middle, my clothes fit better and I still eat cake! My BMI is 22.11 so well within average.
This was a very slow but mostly steady loss so no prizes for amazing stats, but being only 158 tall, losing 6cms from my waist is incredible. I have learnt that I can control my weight and Christmas holds no fear as I have planned my fast days already. Unexpectedly having tried a lot of Mimi Spencers recipes, I am enjoying new flavours in my food.

For the record, my OH lost a stone and does 6:1 and continues to appreciate and support me.
5:2 Rocks!

BMI down 2.5 points. Waist ratio now below 50%

Very happy - but 5.5 lb weight loss in the last 5 weeks could be due to stress over job situation, so may not be realistic. This loss is my largest loss in the time frame. And I have been keeping to 16:8 and irregular fasts over the last month.

Interviews Monday and Tuesday, so may have lost even more by then
  Thanks Caroline for all your hard work
Happy Christmas and enjoy the break

:like: weightloss this month = 2kg
:like: waist reduced this month 1cm !!!!! ( stuck or what )

Found this WOL mid April and started on 13th
This is 34 weeks in.
Total lost 50*5 lbs ( 22*9 KGS I think lol )
Total waist reduced 13 cm
How do I feel? F/Fantastic !!! never better this WOL/WOE has totally changed my body shape like nothing on this planet has ever achieved before
Obviously the weightloss and shape changing is a massive plus for me but also at roughly the 4 month mark I also
started to feel the health benefits that comes with this plan.
Back in April I was virtually housebound with the snow because of my oedema wearing men's fully adjustable sandals they were the only things that I could
get on my feet.
I've recently happily bined them because now I have recycled my sandals from the box room
bagged up + ready to go !!!
Even at my 2*5 stone loss my feet were bad but obviously not the same as my start then suddenly for whatever reason my feet + legs started to reduce    I can't put into words how I'm feeling right now and this is the 2nd time in 2 days that I've posted this remark with happy tears really sliding down my cheeks. The icing on the cake for me
Sorry for the long on Carro but you asked how I was feeling.
So tonight's 1st xmas meal I'll be wearing a SKIT + sandals
This will be the first time in roughly 3 years
 you didn't ask for negatives but I'll pop one in
 I'm probably going to be bald next year but truthfully I couldn't care less  I'll take the weightloss in favour of that any day :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover: Sue :clover:

Edit:: BMI@start 44*10 :heart: BMI now@ 35*9 :heart: :heart:

I am back to being content with my weight, and happy with the reflection I get a glimpse of as I pass a shop window. If I can manage stay this weight for the rest of my life I will be happy. If to do it I have to 5/2 for the rest of my life I will be happy, considering the health benefits . Thanks for all the forum support.
7/12/13 weight 72.5 kg waist 84cm

1/11/13 weight 71.8 kg waist 84cm gain of 0.7 kg

I started on 21/1/13 and I was about 78 kg and my waist was about 90cm - total loss 5.5 kg waist 6cm

I'm really happy that I'm a healthier weight now than I have been for years. I find fasting for two days a week is pretty easy. I'm glad I don't have to eat breakfast every day, I'm learning to to respond to hunger as a trigger to eat rather than the availability of food and the time of day.

I'm going to keep on fasting. However, as I have been hovering around the same weight for a few months now, I will have to find a way to consume less than I do now in order to lose more weight.
I joined the forum on 31st January 2013 & have lost 12.3kg.
Waist was 104cm now 91.4cm  it's been unchanged for many weeks!

11th November 2013 weight was 86.64kg.
7th December 2013 weight is 84.82kg.
Weight lost in month 1.48kg.

I am very happy with this WOE because it enables me to eat normally & have a social life as well as losing weight, admittedly very slowly but at least I am keeping going down. I have not yet reached the halfway stage to my goal weight but envisage doing this WOL forever because it is so easy. I fast 2 days, 16:8 3 days & have wayhey weekends with wine & puddings
My BMI was 37.92 & is now 33.13 & my arthritic knees are much better & I haven't been ill at all this year apart from Dysentary acquired when on holiday in Egypt.
A very big thank you to Moogie & Caroline for starting this forum :star: :star: :announce: :drink: :drink:
Start weight 12th Sept: 180lbs (81.64kg) waist 38in (96.5cm)
weight 5th Oct: 173lbs (78.47kg) waist 37.5in (95.2cm)
weight 2nd Nov: 172.2lbs (78.10kg) waist 36.5in (92.7cm)
weight 7 Dec: 170lbs (77.11kg) waist 36.5in (92.7cm)

For the month that's a loss of 2.2lbs (0.99kg) and waist has stayed the same.
In 13 weeks on 5:2 I've lost 10lbs (4.5kg) and 1.5inch (3.8cm) off my waist.

I know it's really slow but that's ok. I love 5:2 and I'm just so happy I found it before I got any bigger. It doesn't even feel like I'm trying to lose weight and in the last 13 weeks it's not even crossed my mind to not do my 2 fast. For the first year for a long time I'm not stressing about xmas (eating), I know I can still do 2 fast and I can't eat as much anyway. Too many goodies make me feel sick. So after a day or 2 of eating xmas stuff my body will be screaming out for a fastday. I'm feeling healthier and wearing clothes that didn't fit me in the summer. I can't wait until next summer, we're all going to look great. :) I love 5:2 :)

Great losses everyone, well done :)

OMG @PennyForthem, I had no idea you have lost so much weight, that is really an amazing achievement.
:victory: :victory:
You looked fantastic when we met so keep up with the good work, you're looking good girl!!

waist 94cm .................... 86cm........................... 84cm

I'm really pleased with myself for doing this; I love being able to walk up hills better now, and I like looking in the mirror and seeing the reflection matching my image of me.
Suddenly I'm enjoying trying on clothes again; I thought I'd just got less interested in them with age, but it must have been that I didn't like how they looked before. And best of all, I'm now in the healthy weight zone, and my waist height percentage is finally beow 50%...
I  5:2!
