That is very scary! I'm glad you went to the doctor and are getting the treatment you need.

I had a blood clot in my leg this fall and they think it was due to 23 years of being on the pill. I have since gone off of it. But, if you've been on the pill for a while you might want to talk to your doctor about whether you should stay on!

I hope you are feeling better soon!
Oh Moogie that must have all been very scary. I'm so glad you have a diagnosis and can now get better. Just concentrate on getting yourself completey well again. Love and hugs
Crikey @Moogie - what a shocker!

Wishing you a speedy recovery
Look after yourself chick, take some time out and here's to a speedy recovery xxx
Phew, that must have been a shocker, I'm shocked just reading about it. I'm sure you will be fine but how worrying in the meantime. As everyone else says, take care of yourself, don't worry about us and just concentrate on getting better. Many, many hugs on their way to you and here's some flowers to put by your bedside

What a shock! Hugs to you. Hope you get better soon. :clover:
Wow, scary stuff. So glad you are on the mend even though it might be a while before you are totally recovered. Take care and look after yourself.
Woaw..... Take care of yourself and concentrate on your recovery. I promise you, we'll be fine. Big virtual hugs :hugleft:  :hugright:

About the pill, I took a small one when I was 20 for 3 months but had to stop because I had a kind of allergy to it and it caused health problems. I always had a regular 28 days cycle so didn't need it for that so I never looked back. Plus it seems to me unnatural to take artificial hormones like that.
Get well soon, @Moogie - that must have been an awful shock, I hope you're resting up now and thank goodness it was spotted in time.

Take care of yourself and we're all thinking of you    :clover: :clover:
How scary - dont worry about the forum, get yourself well x
Oh my, oh my @Moogie what a shock....I do hope you get well very, very soon. Thinking of you....take care and have a good rest. :rose: :rose:
Yikes! Thank goodness they've spotted this now. Here's wishing you all the very, very best for a speedy recovery. If your hospital's food is anything like that of the ones I've been in, you won't be tempted to overeat :)

Meantimes, if you need to offload any of the geekery stuff, I'm happy to volunteer (suspect the VBF would too, @caitlin?) xxx FatDog
oh my gosh what a nasty surprise to find! You must make sure you rest and re-coup slowly and delegate work to everyone else! Bally typical you find this all out right after moving house, but at least your on the mend so you can get this done and behind you!
So sorry, Moogie, this is quite an ordeal and shock for you; but I am glad that you are getting such good care and are recovering.

:clover: :clover:
Woo, shocking news indeed and thank heavens it has finally been diagnosed. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery, take care.
