Not losing weight?

Help us to help you! Please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

WEIGHT GAIN!!

Can I ask if anyone has ever gained weight the day after a fast day.Got on scales this morning and up 2lbs,thoroughly fed up.

It will just be a blip. Measure your waist and see if that has gone down...if it has, the scale weight is meaningless!

Yes I have - but don't give in!!! The general advice here is to only weigh once a week - however I use an app (Monitormyweight) and I weigh daily and it's really interesting to see how weight fluctuates from day to day , but on the graph you can see the general trend over the weeks is downwards. So - if I go up one or even two days in a row I don't worry too much as it all seems to sort itself out in the end (I've lost 3st over the last year and still going downwards) - so don't give in. You need to give it a good month and get into a routine of fasting. :) Hope that helps, if only a little

Thanks for both of your replies.I will try to not take too much notice of the gain and weigh again on Monday which will be a week from the first fast day of the week.

Weighed myself tues after Monday fast....up 2.5lbs....however, weigh-in day was today, and have lost a 1lb overall....so don't give up.

Did find on Monday that I wasn't thirsty, so didn't drink as much.....
