Not losing weight?

Help us to help you! Please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi

I'm addicted to weighing and i find that my weight fluctuates by around 3lb's from one day to then next - now i know this can be water or food in the gut but wondered has anyone else noticed how much they fluctuate by?
My scales are so dodgy/my floor so uneven it can be 5kg if I don't put them in the exact same place on the floor each time!
Mine fluctuates by up to 7lbs during the day, combo of my weight yo'yoing and the dodgy scales.
So glad its not just me then ha ha!
weighing first thing in a stable state I can see 2 or 3 lb changes if I've done something to increase my carb intake or retain water.

I can easily pee and (less easily) pooh a pound, probably TMI but gives a context to the size of the change. The water content of the body is not tightly regulated, unlike say blood sugar (5 grams)
