For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Well done you are exactly on target!
Don't go mad on your feed days and keep fasting, and you will lose weight. It may not be as fast as other methods, but it will happen and as you say, it's easy to do. Once you get to your target weight, you now know how easy fasting is so it will be easy to stay there and not pile the pounds back on. Stick with it!
