Not losing weight?

Help us to help you! Please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!
Remember, we're not here to judge, we're here to help.

Your resting metabolic rate depends on your mass. If you lose weight your RMR will go down. If you are more active you will burn more calories in a day. Your RMR is purely determined with how much energy your body uses to function without you doing anything, your brain, organs etc all need energy. Fasting does not reduce your RMR , only weight loss does.

I'm not suggesting that RMR is reduced overall in response to fasting. I'm just suggesting that the calorie requirement to function without doing anything on the day of fasting will be reduced because you are not processing food.

...which is why we feel the cold more on fast days!

I don't feel cold on fast days. I know a lot of people report this but I haven't noticed any difference.

Maybe because I am active. If I don't run then I am still out walking my dogs.
