Wow Pixie that's a fab result! Well done
Phew ... my last fast day was friday and I can't wait to get back on to it tomorrow.
I'm finding the 'normal' eating days harder because I find thats when I have to think more and even though I've not over eaten or loaded up on carbs I feel soooo bloated ...*parp*... and windy
On a positive note with my weightloss in this last week my bmi category has gone from super morbidly obese to JUST morbidly obese

Yay, it's great when you see progress in the categories. I was at the top of my category and am now near the bottom, so hopefully not long before I cross the line. We'll see I think this will be harder.
Pixie, I think the loading with carbs thing came about because things like spuds and bread are generally cheaper than all the rest and in harder times than ours, yes I know it's difficult to believe but they did exist, people had to eat more of them to fill up. And your happy dance comment made me giggle because we've done that during the first week, and when Mr Gonewest lost enough weight that he got to where he was happy to admit to me what it was and how much he'd lost. We instituted the happy dance fairly early on in our relationship, and it gets dragged out at other fairly momentous occasions which have over the years served to thoroughly embarass the kids, especially since we have a happy song to go with it!...
FastJo - I've done the remeasuring thing too - well, reweighing actually when I didn't believe I could have lost what I had. I put some things on the scales I knew the weight of to check them and when my daughter came I asked her to tell me if our scales gave the same reading for her as theirs did to check all was in order.
Keep up the good work everyone and good luck. Just think if the longevity thing holds true the kids'll never get their inheritance. Tee hee.

Gonewest - yes, I have been jumping on the scales with the soap dispenser just to check! The spooky thing is, my husband and I keep coming out exactly the same weight. Bit odd and makes us think the scales are broken - prob are!
Oh well at least we see the directional trend ...

You can't beat a happy dance ... especially when it's a group activity rather than solo
I think that once it gets warmer it'll be easier to rely on carbs less, I find I want carbs when it's cold and they'll be more choice in my garden for other things to eat instead!

How's it going, Pixie? Still doing your happy dance?
I forgot to weigh myself on saturday morning so I'm going to leave it until after this weeks fasts.
Done lots of exercise and had a good walk along the canal with Mr Pixie and the dogs at the weekend ... was lovely but I had to pull my jeans up every two minutes I need a belt ... or smaller jeans
I've had a few bad migraine days over this last week, it's normal for me and not fasting related but it's knocked my enthusiasm a little because I've just wanted to shut myself away.. this week is a new week so we'll see what it brings

Hope you're feeling better Pixie. I haven't tested fasting yet while feeling under the weather - not sure how I would get on.
Definitely get a new belt - and maybe braces too! I'm imagining you in clown's trousers now ...
