Shazzams journal

Week one , have muddled through this week not really having any sort of food plan and most days have just waited until teatime to have one main meal(eating more or less calories depending on it being a fast day or not) which I find suits me as I've never eaten breakfast anyway. Started doing 'some' exercise last week which I will step up this week and aim to do a bit everyday. Got on the scales first thing this morning and have lost 2lbs, I normaly would lose more than this first week on a new diet but Im happy with the loss as I have lost an inch off my lower stomach but my waist has stayed the same. so my goals for this week are to be more orginised with meal planning and step up the exercise.

I'm coming to the end of week one too one more fast day tomorrow and then weigh in on Wednesday morning, however my sneaky little weigh ins are pointing to a positive loss this week. Well done Shazzam, this seems like a really doable diet.

Now that Im well into my second week I feel a bit more confident in what Im doing and my appetite has reduced so much that I have decided to 'water' fast only because Im finding that not having to think about food two days a week is so much easier.

Week two,I have exercised every day this week, including spot jogging with weights, sit ups and walked for miles and have just tried to be more active in general so was not too happy to find I have gained a pound but I have lost half an inch off my waist and my clothes do seem to be fitting better I even bought myself some size 12 jeans this week!! :o , so I wont be too downhearted about the weight gain and just hope next week will show something good for all my efforts.Fasting today (Monday)

Shazzam, that's great that you've lost from your waist. You will also have lost fat but the exercise creates muscle which weighs lots more than fat so the scales don't move. You should be delighted! Fat lost and fitter to boot!
Well done!

Crumbs, be positive. You've made your poor body starve, move and shrink and you're still not overly happy, despite fitting into SIZE 12 jeans...

:-)

Week three, no weigh in or measurements this week. Have a really bad cold & feel like poo !!, so I have done no exercise or fasting. I haven't really been eating much but what I have had is comfort food only posting for my own benefit so I dont go off track too much. normal service will resume as soon as I feel better.
