How many weeks did you fast til you saw results?
and how much have you changed for your non fasting days?

I'm trying to be good, but finding myself thinking some days "ohh not to worry, I'll have a little treat, I'll just fast it off" however starting to be worried im eating slightly to much during my non fasting days
You will probably see results very quickly on the scales but that is misleading. I noticed clothes were looser after a couple of weeks and people started to comment, a lot, after about 6 weeks. Don't get too hung up on what the scales tell you as with the fasting they bounce around all over the place. Lots of threads on on this in the various topics here.
Yes, definitely a difference which could be noticed by my family in 5-6 weeks. But please remember this isn't meant to be a 'quick fix', but a long term way of eating which is easy to stick to :)

My non fasting days aren't much different than my old eating habits - well, maybe a few more treats as I don't feel guilty about them and the trend on the scales is still downward (albeit rather slower now I'm 7 months into this way of life).
I know its not a quick fix, and not looking for one, have tried so many other things that this seems like an "easy" way of hopefully loosing weight and maintaining a lifestyle that im happy about. think im worrying since its the first "diet" where I dont feel im missing out, and seems really strange that I dont have to deny myself everything.
Only a week for me. I lost 3lb and half an inch from my waist, however the biggest change was in myself, I feel a lot happier since starting to fast as I feel more in control of my body rather than feeling as if an unknown force was making me put on weight. For the first time in years I have craved vegetables! I am learning to listen to what my body really wants. My skin has really improved as I am drinking a lot of water on fast days. I must admit when not dieting I don't drink any pure water. I am into my third week and I have started to lose the urgency of losing loads of weight quickly. I have previously thought the quicker I lose weight the sooner I can eat what I like. With this way of eating, I can always eat what I like tomorrow, Surprisingly the things I choose to eat are not what I thought they would be and this happened immediately after the first day of fasting. It was not deep fried chips but asparagus that I wanted!

Just remember this does not mean you can eat as much of everything as you can! Just that nothing is forbidden. If you fill up on feed days with high calorie foods so that you are eating more than you should for your height and weight then you won't lose weight. You can certainly eat treats but not only treats ;-)
This is my eighth week and I have been progressing comparatively slowly. This is definitely not a quick weight loss method for me, but I am sure that I will be able to stick with this way of eating, and eventually be a healthier weight.
The most significant way in which my eating habits have changed on non-fast days is that I tend to stick to three meals a day and have stopped snacking in between. Sometimes if I get up late I skip breakfast and only have lunch and dinner, but not on the day after a fast day.

No I know that, and doing my best to control the food on feeding days, will be my 2nd fasting day tomorrow and still trying to get used to this way of thinking and not to overeat, and over snack
Some people go through a bingeing phase when the straight jacket of daily restriction on normal diets is lifted, but after a bit of being allowed treats this calms down. I had not been in the habit of dieting before starting so I didn't go through a bingeing phase. Probably it is better to get in the swing of things and not worry about feed days too much, but you would have to be prepared for the possibility of not seeing much weight loss until your eating had settled. Don't restrict yourself unnecessarily though...otherwise you don't get the benefit of being allowed treats!
i'm just starting my 4th week, fasting days aren't dreaded now and I am pleased to say they just feel like part of my life 8th fast today, feels totally fine. I can see results this week and people are now commenting, I find that my life has significantly improved for me I have beaten myself up about having a panini for lunch, now they are back on the menu, as long as I eat what I would have said 'normal' people eat lol and fast one 2 days its worked for me, my cravings are significantly reduced after years of dieting. I feel like I can actually live and feel in control xxx
ohh cant wait for that feeling to hit me!
I saw results after just one week - I found that I had lost 4 pounds, dropped an inch off my waist, and I felt brilliant waking up in the morning at the weekend. I do find that now in week 3, the weight is falling off much more slowly, and I'm aware that I sometimes get into overeating again after I haven't fasted for a few days. Hopefully this will get better the more I get used to fasting and remembering what it's like to be hungry again!
