Well done Jenny! My weight loss is so slow at the moment I think I've pulled over onto the hard shoulder, not even in the slow lane but your story is inspirational and I will keep going. My stone will go one day!!

Yes definitely! I feel lighter and fitter already (even though I still have 2 stone to go) and I have so much more energy! I suspect some of this may be to do with the improvement in weather and as a result my mood, but I think the weightloss is definitely a part of it.

I went to the doctor in January as I have previously been anaemic. He did blood tests etc and was not happy with my cholesterol results or blood pressure. I told him I was intending to improve these things through weight-loss so I'm due to go back next week for repeats. Fingers crossed things are improving inside too

I can cope with the slow lane too. Its such a relief to feel though I'm actually free of 'dieting' at last. Isn't it a joy not to be having to count everything that goes in your mouth absolutely every day? The way I see it is that if it takes me a bit longer then its more likely that I will have adapted to the neew me and will vbe able to maintain more easily. Its taken 30yrs+ to get back to this point so another few months wont hurt!

Good luck on the rest of the journey. :clover:

Thank you and that is so true!
Any WOE where I can have fish and chips and a jack and coke for my dinner on a Friday evening is going to be one that I can definitely stick to forever  !!
:like:  Fantastic news Jenny :like:
