Congratulations Claire, what a happy problem to have

I sew most of my skirts and so far I have had to take in my hooks and eyes as the waist band had quickly become too loose.

I wore one of my favourite shirts the other day (I didn't make it) and last time I wore it I found it little tight over the bustline and it was pulling across my back - it is a size 12 and when I wore it the other day it fit nicely with no pulling. Happy, happy

Another thing that is great with this way of life is that the longer that I have been doing it the easier it has become.

Thank you for posting. I hope to have your "problem" later this year and take encouragement from your post.

Ditto!!! A problem to look forward too
well done on the weight loss - always encouraging to read others stories!
Woohoo well done, I am looking forward to that problem:)
I've never done the 'early shift' on here before but what a lovely way to wake up with your first coffee of the day. You girls are great fun and so motivating. I know I am at my target weight but it still strengthens my resolve when I see how you are all doing.

I've always said that the hardest thing about losing weight, is not the dumping it, but keeping it off and although I am not having a problem this time with that one, it still feels lovely to be a part of this weight warriors shape shifting gang.

Moogie, I have also gone down a bra size but am still a d cup so I know what you mean, and TML13, if only we all had accommodating little Greek ladies to alter our clothes, you've been abroad too long, U.K. is not like that!!!

Keep up the good work ladies, you are all doing soooo well!!!! Group hugs all round

Ballerina x
Well done, Claire!

I dont need new trousers yet, but ones that were feeling tight are getting a little loose now. And two people at work told me I look like I've lost weight :)
Yesterday, I fished 6 pairs of trousers out of the huge drawer where I keep the clothes which are "too tight to wear".
Some of them are still too tight, but I am currently wearing a barely-worn pair I bought in M&S over 10 years ago!
And I need a belt to keep them up!
 Woo Hoo! Congrats!
Well done ladies on your size reductions.
I hope the problem with this diet will continue for me for more months to come.
I have however also found some new smaller summer trousers from last year that I can now wear which is a great feeling
Excellent! I've had to "retire" a pair of trousers that I've had for a while, because they're too loose, but another pair of size 20 jeans (I only bought them last summer!) need to be altered- they are too new and too expensive to just stop wearing them!
Otherwise I'm enjoying previously tight trousers being too loose. I have some "aspirational" size 16s...I can't do them up yet, but it's getting closer!
Thank you for all your lovely replies

The charity shops will surely wonder why they're getting so many clothes from us all. Imagine the headlines:

CHARITY SHOPS ACROSS THE WORLD HAVE BEEN INUNDATED WITH DONATIONS FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS OF THE 5:2 Diet

'It's amazing' said Moogie the site administrator of the Most successful diet forum ever.
'the boobs have remained but the belly is long gone'.

Ballerina, one's a lady, the other one is a man, LOL!
Send them over to me, I'll get them altered for you...
It is interesting to read Moogie's comment that she needs to find a new style as 'baggy to hide flab' does not work when there is no flab!

I have found the same thing. I realise that, although not huge, I have speny years wearing long tops to cover everything up. These tops now look a bit silly and sort of 'wrong', yet I am finding it hard to feel confident enough to wear more fitted clothes. Somehow it feels like showing off when I have spent years hiding my body away. Strange feeling!
