I record my weight at weekend usually Saturday - check more often.
Yesterday weight hadn't changed. Went out with friends - 2 gin & slim T, bowl of chips. Later at home bacon sandwich on thick white bread - this morning lost a pound! Love this diet lol
Once a month :-) Saturday morning. And up until now, I always lost some weight ;-)
I just weighed myself every two weeks during the first few months as I knew I would get disheartened if I saw no change or any move upwards.

However a month or so ago I bought some fancy scales that not only give a % fat rating but water % and other measures too along with the weight. I now weigh once a week as I like to see the changes in all the measures (when there are some). This back fired a little as I had put on last time I weighed so although overall the results are still fab I was disappointed to be slightly heavier than the week before.

Today is my weigh in day so I hope the scales will be kind to me this week!
At the moment I'm trying not weigh myself for a while as I get disheartened. Have lost 47lbs with weight watchers and decided to start this to shake my system up to get to a healthy weight but now I like doing this instead. So I'm concentrating on sticking to WOE this until it is a habit and it's just what I do, it's much more easy going and hopefully the weight will go eventually over time
I seriously weigh myself every time I am near the scale. I like to see the fluctuations daily, estimate how much my clothes weigh, etc. However, I only record once per week and that is the "official" number.
This is week 2 on my 5:2 diet, and Monday's are my weigh day. I avoid the scales at all costs the rest of the week!
vebnorahs wrote: I sneakily weigh myself whenever I'm close to the scales, which is often!! I only officially weigh once a week though, on a Monday morning, I don't record any other weights or take them setiously. I just think I have a addiction to standing on the scales lol!

This sounds like me!! :)
I started the diet on a Monday, so have kept to Monday's as my weigh in day. I fast on Tuesdays and Thursdays (except for this week, swapped it to tomorrow instead of today as had a longer shift at work with a free lunch so knew a fast day wasn't going to work!!).
I weigh myself everyday at the same time of day, first thing in the morning (when I weigh the least  ). For comparison purposes, the consistent time of day is important. I find there is a large degree of fluctuation in my weight through out the day. Sometimes, I'm 5 lbs heavier in the afternoon (due to different levels of hydration).

What's important though is not the day-to-day changes, but the longer term trend. I use the LoseIt app to count my calories and the web site gives a nice line graph.
Welcome to the forums, Scratchy 78!
Every morning, but I expect ups and downs. I find that the weight is lower the morning after fast days and I expect it to increase slightly until the next fast day.
