Yey!!! At last, 7th fast and I've lost 2lb. Fat down too. Did do a complete fast yesterday so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Did try to post on the fasting post yesterday but as I use an iPad it sometimes doesn't play ball....however, will keep trying and dead chuffed today Off to progress tracker now. Hope everyone has a good day!

So excited. First weight loss today and I've lost 4kg....roughly 8 pounds.
It's the first weight loss I've recorded as I didn't lose anything last week.
I'm a very happy bunny.

Well on my way to a healthier, happier me.
My first week and lost 5lbs (mostly water obviously) but a good psychological start. I think this is the perfect diet for me as I look forward to eating normally after fasting (not keen on those days but not finding it too bad!)I am watching what I eat on 'normal' days, but not obsessively.
I lost 4 stone on WW but put a bit back on, found that totally boring, counting points every day,writing everything down, but this is great, just counting calories a couple of days a week. Brilliant!

Only my second fast but maintained and added a further quarter of a pound making it a 2ibs loss. Better than going up which I have been doing for the last year. Well done Bellalou, 8 Ibs! Terrific. I also lost over 3 stone with Slimming World but it went back on. Just enjoyed my porridge breakfast and looking forward to a sensible eating day as I want to keep the 2ibs off for next Mondays weigh in.
Well done all! I seem to have lost three pounds after two weeks /four fasts, which should be almost possible mathematically speaking. But weirdly I did a waist measurement, not expecting anything, and that's down three inches (!) which doesn't make sense -- I must've mreasurexd wrong to start with?!

I did weight watchers after having my daughter and peridically on my own since. 25 years or so ha ha. I've managed to keep within half a stone of the upper weight for my height but this way seems like it will be more sustainable, and keep us healthier too.
Well done on all the weight losses so far. Sure makes you feel good when you see a movement in the right direction

Well, I am absolutely amazed! I weighed in on Monday at 9st 13lbs which is okish for my 5ft 4 height. I fasted on Monday and Thursday and this morning I am 9st 9and a half lbs. I suppose that is mostly water loss. Is it too soon to put this loss on my tracker or should I wait a full week? I suspect it will be a different story on Monday morning following a weekend of wine and treats

Oh so right Muppet! I'm going to wait until Monday to update my tracker as I too wonder if it will go back on over the weekend. Not too hungry but looking forward to my lunch in a few minutes.
Congrats everyone! I'm so happy this morning. This is my first week and I lost 5 lbs! Yippee!! I almost cried when I saw the scale. I know it's mostly water, but to see that number was so uplifting for me. I love this way of eating!

10.12lb for me 5lb to get to normal range BMI. 9lb to get to where I really want to be. 14lb to get to a lottery win weight! Lol.
9th fast and weight STS today... Decided this is the way it's going to be for me. I think it's because a: I luckily don't have much to lose b: My age c: My height. I think the weekly calories I should have are probably a lot less than the 2000 and 500 that 5:2 allows. Am sticking to that allowance for now, after all, it still amounts to nearly 1/2lb a week? Will look at it again in another month which includes a 2 week holiday. Mmmmm sunshine!!!

I'm reasonably pleased to have lost another 1/2 kilo since I last weighed last Friday i.e. the morning after my second fast of the week. To be honest I was hoping - nay expecting - to have lost a bit more as have loads to lose.
My OH has lost 1 kilo in the same time and has much less to lose overall so he's very happy and will need to stop in a week or so and just fast to maintain.
We both started Jan 21st and my total loss so far is 4.2 kilos and his is 3.1 kilos.
I'm not disheartened but I do want & need to know, is this good progress?
