Wheat Belly ?
28 May 2013, 11:58
Hi Friends ! Has anybody seen this topic ? I just saw it for the first and had some interesting findings. Dr Oz did blood sugars on eating a piece of wheat bread and a candy bar. Blood sugars went up considerably after the wheat bread but not as much after the candy bar ! Any thoughts from the brainiacs out there  see link. http://life.dailyburn.com/diet-and-nutr ... ys-doctor/

I hadn't and I'm not a brainiac, but it makes sense. I know that I seem to lose weight better if I steer clear of wheat - and that my joints ache and sinuses flare up if I don't.

A lot of people are intolerant to wheat, as well as many other foods.

Usually, the foods we most crave are those we are most intolerant to.

oooh, lots of misinformation in that article! Many many proteins produced by the body are glycoproteins, so just being a glycoprotein means nothing. I know many people who don't eat wheat but have a weight problem. While many people may have an intolerance to wheat, simply avoiding it does not guarantee weight loss!
