Not a bad article on the whole and easily understandable, though some important points have been missed, such as the Warburg effect in cancer cells that means they cannot use ketones for fuel and are reliant on glucose, and hence a ketogenic diet may have value in cancer treatment. He tends to use low carb and ketogenic slightly interchangeably yet in the illustration comparing different diets, he separates low carb from ketogenic. This makes it confusing when, for instance, he talks about women and fertility on low carb. I think he meant to say ketogenic diet not low carb there because there are countless women who do very well on a low carb diet and certainly don't compromise their fertility.
