Sorry if this sounds bad, and currently I have no research to back this up, but I have just seen advert about a young lady with Progeria, one of the effects is premature aging. Would be really interested in what causes this (hormone imbalance?) and whether diet or 5:2 could affect this condition... Obviously to improve this condition!
I think its genetic, but can't remember how the genetic changes affect the body. I watched the documentary about a girl called Hayley I think it was quite a while back...was that the programme you saw?
