Morning..
My apologies if this is covered elsewhere...but being new, want to clarify on the smaller details!
I like the idea of the 24 hour fast (from say dinner 6pm to dinner the following night) and then consuming my 500. Moogie, I noticed you maybe do this?
I was wondering however if me having a black coffee or sucking on a sugar free licorice lolly worth 0.7 calories each (though both items are deemed to be small amounts) is essentially breaking that fast?? :?:
Thanks in advance!
Hi and welcome. A black coffee or a sugar free lolly is not going to make a difference to your fast. Some people split their 500 calories across the day and others save all calories for one meal in the evening. You will find out what works best for you in time. I recommend spending some time browsing these forums. There is lots of useful information especially in the New to 5:2 Section.
There had been some discussion on this...possibly in the nerdy stuff section. I think we agreed that up to 10 cals would be ok.
Thanks Caroline, that was the direction I needed. I would definitely not be exceeding 10 calories.
:-)
