Just read this article about a programme tonight on UK television starring Michael Mosley

Horizon: The truth about Personality, airs tonight at 9pm on BBC 2. For more information visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/science
Great! I've been waiting for this to be aired.

The Daily Mail article was interesting as was the link to the tests and games that DrM used in the programme here
Hmmm mildly optimistic and 29 on the cognitive so towards the negative social feedback. Hmmm.

Just discovered this clashes with the last Love and Marriage that OH wants to see. Fingers crossed Horizon is on iPlayer tomorrow :0@ :curse:
Hey azureblue - not really surprised at your assessment - your strapline says it all :like:
Mine's MUCH more pessimistic on both counts  (but then, that's not really telling me something I didn't know already  :dazed: )

Will watch the programme with interest :geek: thanks to Caroline and Navwoman for the links
The programme was really interesting and thanks Caroline for the link to the tests.

As I suspected I am a positive person (scored 20 out of 24) with a positive cognitive bias (score +73). My daughter says I smile too much but I think having a cheerful disposition is the best way of coping with the stresses of life and I am grateful that my brain was wired that way
Recorded it to watch when I have a moment!
Interesting and reinforces my certainty that I must read that book on mindful meditation!
Watched this last night. Interesting although I was hoping he would look into the specific effects of meditation and mindfulness more.

Scored just on the negative side of neutral in both exercises. Thought I'd be much gloomier! I already do meditation but will give the attention training a go.

What I really need is some kind of exercise where I learn to be more sociable and connect with people better.
