Re: maintenance methods

I reached target at the beginning of August so have been in maintenance for almost three months.

In the first month I continued as normal with 5:2 most weeks as I was afraid to stop and undo all my hard work.
In the second month I did 5:2 for a couple of weeks.
I have not fasted at all since then.

My weight is now 4lbs below target. I found that my appetite was reset by 5:2 and I now generally only eat when I am hungry. This means that I miss some meals completely - often lunch - and stop eating when I am full.
I hope that this will continue, but I still weigh myself every day and will go back to fasting if my weight starts to creep up.

And Azureblue it fits with another @caroees thread here which mentioned to start the first meal with protein only and the ketosis continues if doing a fast with small eating window. I was doing that with breaking my fast with poached salmon on a 18:6 inspired by that thread and then eating a small meal with OH.

Can't beat a poached egg. Must get back to that thanks for the tip @Azureblue
