General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

I stole this line from my post on the "Former Weight Watcher" thread, but I thought it would be fun to continue it here:

5:2 is like a sigh of relief because:

I only have to play the numbers game two times a week!

I can eat freely the other five days (not consciously overeating) without stress or worry about fats, protein, carbs or any other mico-nutrients!

I feel like I can make this a permanent way of eating, and the thought of doing it only one day a week for maintenance sounds too good to be true!

Ok your turn! GO.....
because I don't have to think about every single little thing I put in my mouth!
I can eat PIZZA without 'giving up on my diet' the next day.
I feel like after 20+ years of battling my weight and yo-yoing and stressing about food I have finally found the answer for life and a huge "weight" has been lifted off my shoulders! Yay
It's not relentless denial.
Because if I want to eat chocolate, then By George, I will!!!!!
....when I put on a few pounds one week, I know how to take them off next week!
.....the guilt is gone!

This is EXACTLY how I feel. We had people over for dinner on the weekend and I made absolutely DECADENT chocolate pots and enjoyed every last bite. No guilt because I know that today, I'm fasting and it's all good.
I am in control
I no longer have to try every fad "miracle" diet or food that comes along.
