Back from hols!

Hi all

Typed out a message and managed to scrap it just before I posted, so this is take 2! I've been absent the past couple of weeks from here as I've had a lovely couple of weeks off. We had a great week in North Wales walking up mountains, swimming in the sea and riding on a miniature railway. We've eaten normal meals, nothing much more than we would have had at home (maybe the odd ice cream) and I think I've maybe put on a pound or two but nothing drastic. We've also had some fab days out from home and both of us feel really relaxed - sometimes you don't realise how much you needed a holiday until you're on one!

Feeling a mixture of apprehension and positivity about restarting fasting again (I tried to do one fast on one of the first days at home but abandoned it about 2pm, prefer to be grouchy and hungry on my own not with hubby!) - was planning on doing 3 this week as a kick start but we'll see how it goes. Looking forward to catching up with everyone again!

Thanks! I've got one more week before starting my new job so lots of things to do. Considering going down to see my grandma in Suffolk - if I do I most definitely won't be fasting!

Thought we'd not heard from you for a bit - welcome back, looks like you will be joining the 'only put on one pound or less' post-holiday club ...

Ah yes well I think in reality it's a bit more than 'one pound or less' - atill it's not the 'back to square one' it could so easily have been, so that's a good thing. And I'm sure a week or two of fasts will set things right again.

Thanks all for noticing my absence - was going to post a farewell message but then life kind of happened instead!

Be back on here tomorrow I expect while in the depths of fasting...
