General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

After the plateau of September and the blow out of October when I was feeling really sorry for myself with being ill. Although I managed most of my fasts, the normal days were anything but normal, I just stuffed my face with carbs and paid the consequences with a 6lb blip. I am back.

Thanks to 5:2 and the ease with which you can climb back on the wagon I've been really good and just slipped below my lowest weight by half a pound. So I'm back on the slippery slope downward. I am a bit begrudging of the month of weight loss I missed out on, I could have been 4lb lighter than I am now, if not more, if I hadn't lost control in that way. That's another BMI point.

But life and your body like to throw spanners in the works. We have to just stick with what we can do, with what we have in the way of resources, support and willpower. We will get there, eventually. :victory: :victory:
Well done Julie! :star: Keep on keeping on and you'll be given a surgery date come your December appointment! :)
Good to hear Julie - hope it continues for you and you get your op soon!
