Taking a bit of a break
12 Oct 2013, 21:01
With everything that is happening in my life right now, I have decided to give myself a break from worrying about my diet.
I will still weigh in, but will not be fasting for a little while. I am extremely near my target of a BMI 27, and know that when I return to 5:2 I will be straight back on track

Don't worry! 5.2 will be here for a long time to come! Do what you have to, taken the odd break myself, and that is what is so good about 5.2 - you just come back, no probs, no guilt, just pick up again, and a lovely welcome back from the forum members, no judgements, we all know life gets in the way sometimes.. :like: :clover:

Hi Karenm - you don't give details of why you need a break, but obviously your blog says a bit more.... I wish you well .... life can be very hard sometimes as we all know... I hope things work out for you and that time brings you back here when you're feeling stronger. I hope you're able to smile at times along the way and that the sunshine returns to your life soon. Hugs through the ether..... :hugright:

Karen that is such a good idea
You've done a Fantastic job already and with everything changing in your life rightnow it will give you time to concentrate on the things that matter in the longterm, wise to weigh-in regular just to keep it in check, and maybe a 16:8 now+then will do that for you. :clover: Sue. :clover:

Karen, I know you've got a lot on your plate at the moment and that you have lost such a lot of weight but sometimes life gets in the way. I've seen quite a few people on the forum taking time out, coming back and getting on with it. So in the mean time, look after yourself and we'll still be here for you.

Hope all goes well Karen, I think you'll find that now you are aware of food and when you need to eat that you will be pleasantly surprised when you do return from your break and we'll be waiting for you.

PS. With you out of the running this month I may have a shot at the biggest loser award. (I wish) before you come back and put us all to shame.
