What should I do?
21 Feb 2013, 07:56
On Tuesday I did a good deed for a customer at work. Yesterday they came back and as I thank you they gave me a rather large, double layered box of Thorntons....yes, two layers!!!

What should I do?

Should I -

a) Make the kids eat them
b) See if the cats like chocolates (we have three cats but no dog)
c) Wrap them up and give them as a gift to someone else
d) Eat ONE a day until they are finished
e) Hide them in a cupboard and forget about them until they go moldy

Anyone any other ideas

PS. OH and I are on a fast day today. ;)

Keep them and eat one or two a day when not on your fast days. :)

I had flowers and chocolates delivered to my office for valentines day last week. The chocolates are still on my draw at work and I will have one or two on feast days. :) It is a nice treat. Go with option d.

There's more chance of me being able to teach my cats to juggle with the chocolates than me being able to just have one or two a day.

If I was ever able to get to the stage that I could do that then I know I would have my eating habits under control.....watch this space!

I do c) mostly  but I did discover recently that, since starting 5:2, d) had become an option for the first time in my life!

why dont you freeze them and just treat yourself now & then? I heard that tip from a WW meeting years ago, apparently you dont tend to stuff them in so much if your likely to break your teeth.;)

f) throw one layer in the bin

then choose an option for the others. Thorntons are pretty run of the mill these days, don't you find ?

@PhilT, Throw a layer of chocolate in the bin? Wash your mouth out, there must be laws against that kind of talk.;)

leave them at work and share with your colleagues?

donate them as a raffle prize somewhere - or give them to the local homeless shelter!

I agree with Shazzam - PhilT - that's a terrible idea!!

option d! I have a secret box of lindor and i eat one about every three or four weeks. Im not a chocoholic at all but sometimes you just need one!

Be selective, take out the ones you really like and make a layer of those. Keep those for yourself to be doled out in ones or twos for when you fancy a treat. Those Thorntons pralines are dead nice !

Make up a layer of the ones you're not bothered about and give those to your kids and their mates to scoff.

I'm a teacher and I get big tins of chocolates from the kids at Christmas. This year I just troffed the ones I like (with nuts in) let my kids eat the others and I found out the bloke next door likes the orange and strawberry creams, so we picked them out and gave them to him. Otherwise I might of eaten them when I was bored.

Option G) send them to mole3 for him to eat ;)

D, eat 1 or 2 a day (not on fast days).

Share them around at work and watch them put on weight - it will be soooo satisfying.

If it was my problem...
a. Don't give them to the kids, that's just cruel + I don't have any kids :?
b.My cat wouldn't eat them he's too fussy, my dog would, but chocolate is toxic to dogs and I don't want to kill her!!!
c. I haven't got any wrapping paper ;)
e. I was never any good at hide n seek as a kid 8-)

So I'd go for d. to go with my secret stash of emergeny Galaxy :|
