True but they all result in weight gain! It's worth knowing about the effects the brain has in making foods more desirable and to misjudge the amount eaten so as to try to prevent these things catching us out! Hopefully the feast/famine approach may mitigate some of these but until we have more people at the maintenance stage we won't know!

What do you mean, "just"??? :wink: These bloody sneaky fat defense mechanisms are involved in making almost any diet unsuccessful in the long run for the majority of dieters. I could deal with a minor change in metabolic rate, but this animal instinct living inside me trying to get me to fall off the wagon is a tough customer! It's like the ravenous bugblatter beast of Traal!
