Very cute. Thank you!

If you are not eating on a fast day, you don't have anything on the top end pushing on things on the bottom end, right? Try physilium capsules the night before a fast. It will give you a feeling of fullness as well.
Goodness, seems like all the threads I've read this morning are coming back to toilet issues!

Nah, that's just confirmation bias :-)

Psyllium is also called Ispaghula. It's quite common as far as I know. A pharmacy should have it in the constipation section. Health food shops might have and you can probably buy it online.
Thanks! I checked H&B and they have it. If I don't find it in Greece, I'll order it.

I'm also rather fond of this one http://xkcd.com/552/
GOOD ONE!!! LOLOLOL!!!
Amen to pretty much all of the above - and re the quotes too. I started off weighing myself the day after second fast (offically, that is, in fact just about every day!) and was impressed with the results. Then moved to Sunday morning for the sake of consistency and the toilet issue/amount of food in my system arose. Still seeing a downward trend, however, but I think I'll try some of that Psyllium stuff all the same!!
Oh Moira, you're in my favourite place on earth!!!!
 Yeah, I like it too...
What's not to like??? ;-)
Well. Hmmm, I don't like the, overcrowded & overpriced tube system, litter, dog poo, very expensive theatre tickets, freezing cold weather this 'Spring'....
On the upside: loads! the South Bank, lovely old buildings, public transport (if overcrowded and overpriced), gastropubs, museums. I could go on, but, y'know!
