Holy cow it's fast day and my left eye spotted a pizza ad while I was reading posts. Doesn't seem right.
Let them try and tempt us, we are stronger than that! Anyway Dominos pizzas are yuck, give me a good wood fire pizza any day.
Here in Japan I get many japanese slimming website ads with pictures of attractive ladies in bikinis. Marvelous.

We had a good local place that was taken over by Domino's. Most annoying. Domino's always tastes too sweet to me. Not tempting at all.
Well I don't see ads??? However I'm with Wineoclock - an ad for Dominos would def put me off my food :silly: :-P
Yeh, I'm not a Dominos fan at all. Not tempting at all. But I am glad I don't have any chocolate cake in the house right now, that's what I'm craving mid fast
AdBlock... best thing ever.

Now you've got me thinking about pizza!!! :eat:
I second that BurraGirl!
We have Adblock on our laptop- it's great!
I'm using my iPad and the advert that I see most is one for fencing/gates/sheds! I think that it is an intelligent advert generator which looks at what I've been searching online for. Could that be true? Seems a massive coincidence otherwise...
I get a diet 'guru' here in France trying to flog his low cal diets LOL!
I keep getting the 'Fill My Belly' takeaway website advert staring at me :D Most off putting, lol.
Any potential advertiser looking at this forum will being taking note of what people like to eat on their non-fast days!

Perhaps expect to see more of the same kind of ads popping up!
Just before everyone goes nuts with the Adblockers, think about what a few ads actually do for this site- this forum is free to use for users, but websites have to be paid for and can also take a lot of time up in admin and development. Seeing a couple of ads and buying through the Amazon links to support the site is no bother for me- doesn't cost me anything and it contributes a little to Moogie's pot. For what it's worth, imo a great forum is one where people post merrily without noticing any error messages, disruption etc as underneath, there is a team of admins and mods working hard to keep it running smoothly.
Basically, what I'm trying to say in a really long way, is appreciate what you've got in Moogie and her admins- because this forum will be sorely missed if it has to shut down due to not being able to meet its costs-

I'm not in anyway associated with this forum btw, but I do work as a web monkey on t'internet :)

Adblock? Nooooooooooooo!!! Websites are fed by ads!

Dominos? Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!! And why shouldn't they advertise. Where does it say that we can't eat pizza???
Most of the ads should be intelligent and based either on things you've been searching for recently or in some way related to the topic or page contents. I'll have a look and see if I can disable takeaway ads.
