Such great suggestions! Thanks for the question, it's very helpful to see what others do. I do most of the same things, and also:
*This forum, of course
*Chew Extra Dessert Gum if I get hungry in the daytime (Raspberry Vanilla Cupcake, Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Square are the three I keep in my desk, purse & car ;)
* I have a 5:2 fast app "coach" that sends me reminders throughout the day to keep it up with little inspirational quotes
*Realizing how much better and more mentally alert I feel on fast days
*Looking forward to a planned dinner - I cook on my fasting days whenever possible.

You will notice I don't have exercise on the list - YET, but someday, I hope to be able to fast and exercise on the same days. Right now, it drops my blood sugars too low and then I have to break the fast w/extra calorie glucose tabs that I don't want. I'm figuring it out slowly! Thanks for all the tips.
 Such a helpful thread - thanks so much to everyone for sharing their top fast day tips!
1. Going to work - I struggle to fast at home.
2. Riding my horse after work - always suppresses my hunger, and makes dinnertime come quicker
3. Bouillon at lunchtime - it feels like I am having lunch, but only 17 cals
4. Lots of veggies to pad out dinner (Usually only about 350 cals)
5. A glass of milk at bedtime to help me sleep
1. Bouillon
2. A boiled egg when the going gets tough
3. Fizzy water
4. The mantra "I can have it tomorrow"
5. The thought that by going without I am hopefully reducing my risk of various illnesses/diseases/health issues.

@MLCDz IT may be posted elsewhere. which app is it?
1. Reading inspirational stories.
2. Admiring my Progress Tracker. (Not an attractive trait I know, but true..!)
3. Thinking about the dress I would buy.
4. Miso soup at about 1pm.
5. Supportive partner.

Interestingly, I haven't been eating so well on feast days since Christmas, and now that I type this I wonder is it because I've bought the dress, and so that goal is gone? And if so, I may need to set a new goal. Maybe to go for a massage or something.
So a really useful post for me, thank you @tinamacarina!
