I did at first but not nowadays (can't remember how long into the WOE it lasted though).
Depends what I eat on the fast day. I find that if I consume something with a lot of artificial sweeteners (jelly, diet pepsi, etc) then there's 'a lot of action' in the pan the next morning if you know what I mean.
I had a few problems at first but it soon settled. For me the worst thing was the rumbling. I wasnt uncomfortably hungry but my stomach was so noisy it was really embarrassing! I kept both hubby and myself awake one night it was so loud. I was not a popular bunny that night! It was only for the first few fasts though. Seems much quieter now.
I experienced that as well for the first two fast days but digestion has now settled down

I eat loads of salad and fresh veg and have never ever been this constipated (soz for the tmi )

Hi Virginia
I'm there are some threads on this somewhere. Yes, I have had that too now and then again despite eating lots of veggies on fast days. Have not yet been able to link it with anything but might be down to not drinking enough on fast days. Lots of strong coffee and some chilli beans helped

Yes, Virginia, I had (and sort of still have but less) your problem.
I tried various pills and remedies and I ended up eating 5 dried prunes for breaky. They almost fixed the problem, I assume that in a couple of days I'll be back to the loo.. erm, back to normal I mean!

I've got myself well acquainted with the downstairs toilet this evening. I'm on a fast day today but had exactly the same problem on the food day. I had dinner around 6.30 tonight and my body seems to be rejecting it. Food? Ewwwww......no thanks
I have had this problem as well. It's a relief that I'm not alone.
Me too, experienced both

Anytime!
I also found that the Colax tablets from Holland and Barrett help a lot.

not at all...in fact its quite interesting as I too have now went the opposite way...the thing I am putting it down to is bread....being a former dukaner its a long long time since I indulged in bread like I am doing now, I've kind of used this diet as an excuse to go a bit mad as far as bread goes so I think my body just doesn't agree with it & I'm going to try and eat a bit less! give it a go anyway & c how it goes!
