@Sue.Q as we both know only too well,we are very plucky girls when it comes to managing to raise a glass or a knife and fork to our gobs even when we're indisposed...
This calls for great bravery but we are such courageous souls we just soldier on regardless! x x

@CandiceMarie I'll try very hard to raise a glass to you later tonight but as I'm putting in an unexpected fast today it won't be alcohol (shame)

@Silverdarling I would have to put my other cats in it as well (I have 2 others, one at home and her sister at my parent's house) and there's only room for 3 so, for now I stay with my beautiful boy only

She's a beauty, isn't she ? And I am totally objective, of course She only has a fault, she's a bossy cat Tomorrow I'll take her to visit my mother, it should give her a boost (to my mother, I mean) as she fell down this week.... Again.... It ended well, that's all that matters

Er ... Probably.

A busy day for me, all revolving around laundry and holiday clothes!

I spent the morning sorting out my meagre pile of holiday clothes, the whole day doing laundry, and I'll be doing some labelling tonight no doubt. Yes, I am the crazy lady who is getting not only everything sorted before their holiday but also the kit they need for Brownie pack holiday in August and the new term of school in September nearly there too, and it feels GOOD to know that when we get back from our holiday I can be chilled about everything bar maybe new shoes. That's hubby's job anyway.

Currently sitting with a cup of black Earl Grey tea, waiting to collect the perishes from Brownies, himself from the station and then finally, EAT! It's been a long fast day but trying on my new bikinis has kept me on the right path

Evening all. My first fast today after a week off fasting and exercise, just to get my head back in order. I still want to lose a bit more tummy for my shorts to sit a bit tidier, but otherwise I'm more chilled about the weight loss now.

Last week I did 48 hours of babysitting, *groan* , I know I need the money but do I really need it that much? I'm also a mean and horrible babysitter, I won't carry the kids bags, I won't buy them sweeties or ice cream, I won't put up with temper tantrums. I'm the nanny from hell. I even make them do their reading!

Its only 19 days before I see my lovely daughter again and 2.5 weeks after that before I'm off on my holidays myself (so yes, I do need the money *groan*). I will be awfully glad to see the heatwave that's being predicted, its no where near here yet. I actually had to change out of my new shorts and put some jeans, a sweatshirt and socks on. Not fair! I want to get a head start on the tan so I don't burn on holiday. Especially as I have started suffering from prickly heat the last few years. The best way to sort it for me is to actively trigger it in the UK where I can control the symptoms, then do it again, each time the symptoms reduce till I can face sunshine with no itching.

Good luck with the heat, all aspects Julie! We enjoyed 23c yesterday here in Kent and its set to be the same today.

My girls are off to London today with their Aunt, so I have a much needed quiet day to do some even more needed house blitzing. That's the downside of having house/cat sitters. I have plenty of time yet but I also want some time to get down to the beach hut and do more painting. It would be nice to get back from our jollies and be able to chill down there not always be doing DIY.

All the uniforms labelled and put away. Happy days

A lazy day for me but seems to be an accident prone day also
Made porridge and managed to set teatowels on fire and smoke alarms off
Then stubbed little tie so badly,can barely walk...
Will persevere tho as going to the cinema this avvo and out for early dindins
I plan to have ribeye steak and chips n salad...hardly ever eat red meat but been craving it for ages,so will listen to my body! Body also telling me to have creme brulee too!
