Poor you @CandiceMarie hope your tootsie is a little better today, and little old ladies armed with walking sticks should be banned from public places lol
Good job they aren't though coz were going in that direction pretty smartly, which is also a good thing the fact that we keep plodding along. :like: :clover:

That sound broken @Candicemarie , as there is nothing you can do with a broken baby toe except protect it you have my sympathies. Had one myself a few years back. Watch out for your back, the limping will cause back ache.

My tummy bug seems to have been a 24 or 36 hour one. My tums still a bit delicate, but it coped with dinner last night so I'm hoping its sorted.

Today, yay, I get back to woodturning. I had a 3 hour session yesterday doing a major tidy in there, so its tidy enough to move around. I'm not babysitting today and its not my housework day, so its all go for having fun.

Morning peeps.
Candy, you are certainly in the wars, m'dear. Take care
And Julie, glad you're feeling better, too.
Dul, dull, dull here, and it's not only the weather. My mood is too. Funny, though, I expected to be sore and stiff after my first proper bike ride in about 7 years, but I'm not. Perhaps if I got on the bike, I'd find which muscles hurt!
That's my Oxo finished.... I'm back tuit!

@angie090465 No need to feel a fraud we all get times like that especially when faced with stressful situations.
I've been rubbish all this year just whittling a little off now and then, take care Angie and pop back in more often but next time bring one of your scrumptious cakes with you.

Hello everyone. I am having a tense day today and trying to stay away form the cupboard. My Nan is having eye surgery this morning and my Grandad went to hospital yesterday to discuss his treatment plan for lung cancer. He doesn't want an op to remove his lung as it would mean such a reduced lung capacity he wouldn't be able to do anything. That in itself would probably be the end of him if he couldn't go out into his garden. I haven't really spoken to them about it yet as they were tired yesterday when they got back and out early this morning to go to the other hospital so off to see them tomorrow to read through the hospital stuff as I am their next of kin. Plus we have workmen here and they are lovely but I don't like it.

I totally understand this. It is a bit intrusive having strangers in your home, but we just have to remember how things will be better when they're finished x

Fasting fail today. I was up so early my stomach thinks its dinner time. So I had a low carb lunch and will keep dinner low calorie or low carb as well and try again on Friday.

The good news is I have finally been in my shed making 'things', this time more mundane dibbers and bamboo cane toppers, to sell at the car boot on Sunday (if it isn't raining of course). back to my shed ans my zen time, I find wood turning to be so absorbing and so theraputic and have missed it, terribly, as I couldn't do the work for nearly a year with my neck problems and the surgery.
