       ..........time for a joke, folks!
Best friends graduated from medical school at the same time and decided that in spite of two different specialties they would open a practice together to share office space and personnel.
Dr. Smith was the psychiatrist and
Dr. Jones was the proctologist.

They put up a sign reading:
"Dr. Smith and Dr. Jones: Hysterias and Posteriors."
The town council was livid and insisted they change it!

The docs changed it to read: "Schizoids and Hemorrhoids."
This was also not acceptable.
So they again changed the sign to read "Catatonics and High Colonics"
... no go.
Next they tried "Manic Depressives and Anal Retentives"
... thumbs down again.

Then came "Minds and Behinds" ... still no good.
Another attempt resulted in "Lost Souls and Butt Holes"
... unacceptable again!
So they tried "Nuts and Butts" ... no way.
"Freaks and Cheeks" ... still no good.
"Loons and Moons"... forget it.

Almost at their wit's end, the docs finally came up with:
"Dr. Smith and Dr. Jones - Specializing in Odds and Ends"
Everybody loved it.

Well what a day I've had - work organised a volunteering day at a National Trust property - we were sifting through a pile of dirt looking for bits of glass, china and anything else of interest. I managed to find a button and a piece of metal from an oil lamp. I was fasting so didn't need worry about a packed lunch. Also been to an exercise class since I got home so well and truly pooped now!

Presume you are back over the pond. Back to work today  :frown:

Back tomorrow @silverdarling. Been travelling non stop since I got here. I was on East Coast rail today when the train struck someone. I don't know what happened exactly but it felt very odd when the train stopped. Horrible and sad. So we were a crime scene for a couple of hours which made me late for my meeting in London. On my way back to Newcastle now and then fly back to the US tomorrow.

@candicemarie. Sort of. It's the food I'm fed up with. Unless I pack something all the while, meetings only serve sandwiches. So it's been a carb fest and I'm really hacked off with it. Because the days are long, it's challenging to fast and to perform well at work. I have been up at 4.30am most days. So I plan to be a hermit this weekend and start all over again. Again!

Safe journey back over the pond K x

@rawkaren hope you get some downtime and enjoy it.
Well we saw Andrea Bocelli last night. Wow what an amazing voice he has. Loved every minute of it, still singing the songs in my head.

Second from youngest grandson just started school and is doing really well. He's being helpful and made friends, is keen to go each morning and is already gaining in confidence.
But
He's started waking with night terrors, something his older brother gets occasionally but he hasn't before.
Anyone else experienced this and found the best way through it please?

@Azureblue your poor grandson, that's not good. Are they night terrors or bad dreams he is waking from? I used to suffer from terrible nightmares when I was young, a family trait. My father told me that when I was in the bad dream I had to tell myself to wake up, well it worked. I still had some nightmares but I could get myself out of them quickly and they have lessened with age.
