What are your hobbies/interests? Music, choral singing, reading, travel, walking, ancient history and languages, sleeping.

What do you wish you had more time for? Reading!!

Do you have a partner and/or kids? Lovely partner, no children

Do you have any pets? No because of being out all day but I would LOVE a dog.Had 2 two over the years and they were my boys. When I retire I shall get another dog (or 2!).

What's your favourite film? The Railway Children. Sad, but true

What's your favourite song or band? I like all sorts of music from classical to pop but my favourite band would have to be Joy Division or the Smiths. But I also love Bach, Tallis, Byrd, Vaughan Williams. My problem is trying not to cry when I get to sing stuff that I love.

And one more point - I mostly come on here when it's a fasting day (like today) and always find it really interesting. I've been doing 5:2 for nearly a year and just love it (and the effect it has had on my dress size!)

I need to look up the wall paper my grandmother has in her "backroom" bedroom. needless to say it was unchanged from 1964 when they moved in. It was a very simple design and I often used to look at it and admire it, knowing one day it would (have to be) gone.

Sorry @lizzieh, the only place I'd ever heard of 'cerulean blue' was in The X-Files episodes "Pusher" and "Kitsunegari", the character featured in those eps loved cerulean blue. Never heard anyone mention that shade before or since, so I wondered if it was a little hook to catch a fellow X-Phile on Nevermind, please excuse the scifi geek in me

Dom and I are actually "in service" We live in the middle of a beautiful 120 acres in a 2-bedroomed converted coach house that is part of the employment package for a lovely rich couple. Dom is their full-time gardener/handyman and I work 3 mornings a week as their housekeeper. We've been here five years at the end of next month and love it. Until we moved here I'd always worked 9-5 in an office so it was a real career change for me. I tell everyone I'm semi-retired!

What are your hobbies/interests?

I have 4 horses I adore, I love running and have recently re-discovered the joy of experimenting with cooking and baking.

What do you wish you had more time for?

I'd like to find the time to dabble in painting furniture in a "shabby chic" style.

Married to Gorgeous Dom. Three children, grown up and flown the nest. One granddaughter, Olivia, 5. Apple of my eye, although she lives 150 miles away so we don't see much of each other. She's the only other member in the family that seems to be horse-mad so far.... I'm hoping it lasts!
