I did find this link from the official site but as others have said, this one is actually useful, the official site is a 'look once and no need to go there again' type of place, whereas I find it difficult to keep away from this lovely weight warrior's shape shifting forum, quite addictive!

A round of applause and a big bouquet of flowers for Moogie and Caroline and all the other helpers who have made this site so fantastic.

Three cheers for Moogie........hip hip hooray........hip hip hooray........hip hip hooray!

Just another big thank you to Moogie & the moderators. This is the first forum I've ever joined & that's down to everyone involved in running & posting on here.Everybody is really friendly (probably spoilt me forever on forums) & the advice & support is great.Thank you :like:
How did that song go?
Jealousy, turning saints into the sea...

Don't worry, peeps! I found you on my own and so will many other people!!!
I have only ever used forums to find one off bits of information and they all seemed terribly complicated to me.

My husband has been a member of a few car related ones and the people can be really horrible.

This is the first forum I have ever joined and I am on it all the time. You are the business - this forum is perfectly set up and has all the right people on it.

I would never consider even looking for another 5:2 forum as I have everything and more here.
I found this forum via Google. Its high ranking on Google will be largely thanks to the link on thefastdiet.co.uk

I wonder if removal of the link will effect this forum's Google standing? Any techie nerds know?
Another huge thank you to Moogie, Caro, the mods and all the other members of this forum who make it such a lovely welcoming and supportive place to be. I was on holiday for 2 weeks and had problems logging on, and I swear I suffered withdrawal symptoms.
It is the people who make a community, in life or online, and this community is wonderful, and judging from the number of members, thriving. It is not an appendage of the "official" site, it has a life and identity of its own, nurtured by so many contributors.
Don't let it bother you Moogie - just accept it as a compliment. They obviously feel threatened by the success of this forum.

It's a credit to you, and a credit to all the members that this forum is growing as fast as it is and that we have a wonderful friendly community.

Er yes if you say so PennyForthem

Re the main topic, I agree with what everyone has said. What you have created is mega Moogie! Whoever is behind the decision at the 'official' site they are fools. As we know from the figures, their website is a moribund tiddler compared with the vibrant active and growing community you have given birth to here.

Although they did put a link to here a while ago, I have suspected before now that they had or were developing a reluctance to refer to this site or anything that was on it.

This site (your site - our site!) now seems to be very actively indexed by Google which shows how highly ranked it is (that googlebot member is nearly always here!) - postings sometimes seem to turn up in google searches within an hour. That's because the google algorithms detect, correctly, that lots of good unique and helpful info is appearing here. Google is a powerful ally!

If I was them I would have suggested combining this site with theirs. As others have said, if they think they can 'do a 52fastdiet.co.uk' they will find it isn't so easy. Look at KH's forum...

OK, I could rant some more but instead I am breathing slowly and deeply... time to move on!

Moogie, if you want to give the forum a new look do please let some people (or all of us) see a mock-up beforehand (or another forum that is already using it), I agree with what has been said that the present layout is pretty good and knocks most other forums for 6.
I concur with everything that's been said. Thanks to Moogie for setting this thing going and keeping it running. Seems madness not to sign post to this site but I suppose they know what they're doing  I think this site has been a big part in a change of life for me. Having people to report back to has made a difference and now I'm even doing exercise! Thank you.
Thank you from me too. I found this site through Google, not the official Fast Diet website. I've found it really informative and it has helped me enormously. This is a really friendly and amazing place and I have no intention of switching allegiances! Thanks once again.
OMG! I'm shocked.
I did find this forum through the official site - and am really glad I did, it's brilliant. Many thanks indeed to Moogie et al for a great forum. I wouldn't know where or how to begin setting up something like this
I agree that I also found this site through Google and not through a link. Many thanks to you Moogie and to all the helpful clever bods on here - this is not only an informative, helpful site, but also friendly, welcoming and encouraging. Thank you x
I agree with all said above, I also found you through google.
Everything about this site is spot on moogie, the layout, the friendly people that post, the moderators and of course you, and all your hard work so don't change a thing! As someone said earlier its the people that make a forum and we have got the best and we won't be going anywhere! Toni xxx
You've built a wonderful, fantasical site! Absolutely brilliant with diverse people all seeking a better relationship with food. Some looking for health benefits, some for weight loss and some for both.

What I find so refreshing is the support from everyone! No skinny snobs looking their nose down on the overweight, or vise versa thinking the skinny have no right to be here.

We are all on a wonderful journey together and enjoying each others company.
I honestly found the official website really lacking in the actual gritty stuff in following this way of eating.
That is why I googled further and found this forum.
I have gained so much knowledge and support here, I never bothered purchasing the book.
Thanks Moogie, Carorees and others.. You do a fantastic job..
