Yes we saw last nights very clear passover :like: brilliant
Just getting ready for tonight's :clover: :clover:
Shucks, I may have missed it .... catching up with this convo.
Fairly good view here tonight - a bit cloudy but when it was visible it was really bright. I have emailed the schedule to all my local friends , to my 2 sons in Oxfordshire and to my daughter in Berlin! I looked op the correct schedule for eac of them on tinternet
Great stuff, @azureblue! Thanks.

Hi @Sue.Q - saw your post on the other thread. :)

It's lovely to think of all the other posters (and their ripples!) craning their necks each evening, in a common cause!

Not to worry, @Lizbean, there'll be plenty of opportunities over the next few weeks - clear skies permitting!
I'm on it too. 9.39 and 11 something for me tonight.
Just caught tonight's viewing another great one. :like:
Yup! There it went - lovely view despite a thin layer of cloud!

It's back again at 2358 - very high in the sky - but the view (should) terminate|(s) over middle England.
Lovely sight - almost directly overhead, but a little to the north - and then, right on cue it began to fade and ten seconds later it had disappeared.

Next one tomorrow night at 2133 - should be a belter. Just above halfway up the sky and it will go from horizon to horizon.
Ooooh thank you, what would we do without 5:2!!!!
Just saw the jolly ISS chasing ATV5, it's delivery truck, across clear UK skies. All bright and sparkly, much nicer than watching the ghastly harrowing News programmes.
Wars will cease when men refuse to fight.
I had that on a badge in the 60's but nothing has changed on that front.
Hurray for civilising (none military) science.
We had a good view of both too. My hubby also saw a shooting star but I missed it. Also the moon is so bright tonight. A very worthwhile excursion into the back garden!
Tonight is a supermoon, "they" say the brightest for 20 years, also there's a meteor shower from yesterday to wednesday. May not be able to see the meteor shower tonight because of the light from the moon. Your hubby saw something @Lil so we may able to see it after all. :)
Seen them both go over again this evening, ATV5 lagging behind this time. I may go out for the 2nd pass and hope to see some shooting stars at the same time - Unless it's clouded over of course

Yes at last. More visible passes. Sadly the current ones over my part of the world are 4-6 am so maybe the beginning of next month.
