Thanks, @Azureblue! Much appreciated. :like:
Missed all those 5 and 6 am passes - but it'll be back next week visible around 9 in the eveings, which is much more civilised.
Dont know how I missed it last night - conditions were perfect, I was sure I was looking at the right spot, but....nothing. Hmmmmm.
I suspect they have revised the timings by a minute or two as usual. I will look for the latest.

ISS just sailed serenely across our evening sky, right time, right place. Lovely. :like:
We happened to be visitng friends who live in a remote rural locations, with a gorgeous open south facing view down to the Mountains of Mourne. So with the clear skies I got a fantastic view of it sailing overhead :victory:

Hoping for a good pass tonight as a birthday treat.
Well done, blue and Mel!

I was dancing the light fantastic last night until 11.15, so I had no chance to look up - but there are two decent passes tonight. Here's a visual representation which I like:

Be nice to see it again! :)
Here's the NASA site where you can sign up for daily alerts.

http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/

It doesn't include every visible pass. I've had (admittedly fairly low) sightings which haven't figured on their tip-offs, but you certainly get the main ones.

Thanks for this, @Azureblue!

However, all the info in the world is no good without clear skies! :curse:

I've yet to see it on this series of passes - every night it's been cloudy, as it is tonight!

Never mind, there's always tomorrow. :)

(Until the 28th, that is!)

UK ISS Pass details for April 2015

ISS

The International Space Station (ISS) is back over UK skies with some great evening passes during April 2015. Watch out for this bright delight in the autumn skies.

The ISS is the largest Space Station/ laboratory ever built, it can be spotted with the naked eye at certain times as it orbits Earth at 17500mph at an altitude of roughly 200 miles.

Spotting the station is very easy and you don't need any special equipment. You only need your eyes!

Check out the Beginners Guide to Seeing the ISS to learn how easy it is to spot sailing over and the Beginners Guide to Photographing the International Space Station (ISS).

You can also see this great guide on how to watch and photograph the ISS.

All you need to know is when and where the ISS will be passing over your location. Luckily the United Kingdom (British Isles) is small enough for most of us who live there to see the ISS at the same time. Neighboring countries can see the station pass over at roughly the same time also.

Only bright passes are included in the predictions and the fainter, less easy ones have been left out.

The table below gives approximate ISS pass times and basic information, this will help you spot the station as it passes over.

Only bright passes which can be seen from the UK are listed and the information is approximate. Timings may differ by a few seconds, dependent on observer's location. Times may change at short notice if the Station performs an orbital boost and changes its orbit. All Timings are local time.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time, get your cameras ready and enjoy the ISS as it passes over in April and keep your eyes peeled for meteors, satellites and other objects too, they will be visible most nights!

Good luck and clear skies.....

Thanks, @Azureblue, that's excellent!

I saw the 2154 pass tonight, first time in quite a while.

Here's another useful website, showing the ISS in the centre of the frame, with the earth rotating underneath. In the RH sidebar is a link to the ten day forecasts - giving a pictorial view of the info provided by Azure above. You may have to input your location.

[Edited to include the link! Doh! ]
Good view tonight with clear skies and late enough to be dark. Looking forward to a longer pass tomorrow night
