Glad to hear its gone well TML.
Thank you, David!
I am so happy for you and your loved ones everything went as good as possible
Hi TML,

Not been posting for a few days but so glad to see that everything has worked out well. Did the stress cause you to lose any weight or was that brought about by drooling at sexy doctors? Behave yourself, hee hee. Have a great big drink on me and here is a giant hug on it's way................ ....got it? Good, take care,

Ballerina x
I'm afraid that I don't have good news to offer today. Still in ICU because the arrhythmia got worse. Hopefully, he will get better again tomorrow.

Ballerina, I'm suffering from severe water retention at the moment, I probably gained a couple of kilos. I'm taking my special peeing pill on Wednesday though and I am planning to do 5:2 this week (Wednesday and Friday) but I'm not sure since life seems quite unpredictable lately. I wanted to fast tomorrow but as it turns out it is going to be a very busy day.
Got the hug, God you can squeeze!!! ;-)
Hang in there TML13 and try to stay positive. My father had double bypass in Dec 2012. It was a long road back (he's in his 80s and had some complications) but he's doing great now. He's very happy to be alive and feeling great, getting around (and just called me from the beach on vacation with my mother)!! Stay strong!!
Hun, I've only just seen your posts as I haven't been on line for a few days, was sad to see the stress you have been coping with and hope that by now things are looking up for you and your friend, I nearly lost my husband a few months ago as he had four blood clots in his lung and was hooked up to various contraptions in ICU for a couple of weeks, for about a week it was touch and go and I just went into shutdown, I couldn't eat sleep or function properly until the immediate danger had passed. I still have to inject him with heparin every day to thin his blood, but the difference 7 months has made is unbelievable he almost looks back to his old self. So hopefully you will see your friend get stronger every day, sending you a big hug xx
Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I am trying my best to think positive. He's been through such a lot, I think that it would be so unfair if he lots the battle after so much worry, pain and suffering...
Big hug from me too. Keep your pecker up, chuck. xx
Thinking of you and your friends, hoping for better times. {{+}}
Thanks girls!
He was moved out of the ICU today. Things are still critical but we are hoping for the best! :-)
Yay! A step in the right direction...
:-)
BTW, I am trying to get back on track!
I did the attack today and I am planning to fast tomorrow and -if all is well- on Friday.
I don't feel hungry at all, which is good.
And I had a very strong moment today at the hospital, when a friend did the coffee round and brought cinnamon danish pastries! I wasn't hungry but they are my favourite in Greece (second after custard doughnuts but we don't get them here). Still, I said no and came home to my eggs with cottage cheese and turkey ham. :-)
Sounds more like you TML ;-)!

But what of the gorgeous doc??
