I come bearing good news!
He will be released on Monday yet he won't go home. His son found him some sort of rehabilitation facility in a clinic near his home-village in Crete (that's an island, BTW). His niece works there and as soon as he is up and about he'll be able to swim, visit all his family etc.

I'm gonna miss Dr Sexy Swoon sooooo much! I tried to convince my dad to have heart surgery but he looked at me like I needed a brain one. Parents, can;t trust them to help in anything... Pfffffffffffffft...

Hi TML, Im a little late to the party!! sorry, glad all has turned out well
Perhaps you could have something serious but not life threatening? A little bit of an irregular heart rate? needs to be investigated but usually benign. Dr sexy swoon would have to do something, aand you might need a lot of follow up.

He'll send me to the cardiologists. He is a heart surgeon. The only logical solution is to take my dad for heart surgery but he is so stubborn that he won't go!!!

Glad all has turned out well! Shame about Dr Sexy Swoon though but don't forget there are PLENTY MORE fish in the sea!!!! Xx

And so it was... we said our goodbyes with Dr Sexy Swoon today. I could see the sadness in his eyes. I could see him thinking how much he'll miss my crazy girlfriends and me.
He does have one fault though (apart from the ring on his finger). He supports the worse possible team ever!!! I knew he wasn't perfect...

We also went to the airport and waved our friend's dad goodbye. He is already settled in the clinic. Single room, balcony, sea view and his first meal was very tasty. All's well!!!

I can't thank you all for your great support and kindness and humour. It meant a great deal during this stressful period. Thank God for people like you and Dr Sexy Swoon!

Yes @miffy49 it is 'all inclusive' - I didn't know and asked earlier in the week! Answering for @TML13 as she is obviously elsewhere enjoying herself!
