Hi ballerina. (Sorry for butting in TML!) fifty quid??? Judging by your gorgeous photo, I would treble that immediately!!!!!!!!!!!xxxxx
Not that I know much about it of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!xx
Good morning naughty Tdstephens,

Thank you for the lovely compliment but don't forget, he isn't allowed any money as he always loses it, gives it away, gets it stolen, drops it, never spends it as it has always disappeared somehow, so I thought I'd make it simple. I don't take credit cards or give tick so £50 seemed doable. (Reminds me of the story of the bloke negotiating with a 'lady of the night' and he said "American Express?" and she said "You can go as fast as you like love!")................My apologies also to TML for running away with nonsense on her thread and by the way, how is the gorgeous Doctor, swoon.....

Ballerina x
Well, I am very glad to see this thread going of its course, since its original purpose has started to disappear. There are still minor problems because our patient won't eat and if he is not eating he won't get strong and he won't return home and it is not good to spend ages in the hospital.

Funny story about the sexy doctor; when I went yesterday I was fasting. I was sooooo hungry I could eat him (but then I could do that without being hungry so never mind).
He came into the room and asked my friend's dad why he's not eating and he replied because the food there was yuk. He's wrong, BTW, it is not yuk it doesn't look or taste like hospital food at all, it is just salt-less and doesn't have much oil. Sexy doctor to the rescue, says that while he is in the recuperating phase he can eat whatever he fancies in order to get strong. And he starts listing food... Lamb chops, spaghetti, panacotta, lobster... and I'm drooling and I don't know where to focus the drool. Doctor? Food? Doctor speaking about food? TORTUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE!!!
You are going to need to be resuscitated soon at this rate
Will he perform the procedure?
I knew you would think that ... You have got it bad girl ... He must be cute or should I say hot
He is not as cute as much as he is hot and charming. Even the wives of patients of other doctors talk about him, when he starts to speak you just shut up and listen and pray that he won't ever stop...
by the way, how is the gorgeous Doctor, swoon.....

Ballerina x

That's it! Ballerina has given him his new name, Dr Swoon!
Dr Sexy Swoon.

I'll be a doctor soon, I'll get my PhD in Drooling. I wonder if it Politically (or Hygienically) Correct to drool over a patient's bed...
If patient is complaining about food or complaining about anything come to that, patient is def getting better!! Which is wonderfull news. try not to eat Dr Sexy Swoon, he may be needed to cure more patients!! hope you are now relaxing a little and your stress levels are subsiding. Oh and also don't drool too much (in public anyway!) or Dr Sexy Swoon may think you've escaped from a different sort of hospital!!! Xx
Heee heeeeee... I missed him yesterday. :-(
The thing is that he is getting better mentally but Dr Sexy Swoon said that if he doesn't get strong and walk without help then he won't discharge him. So far he can't even sit up on his own. He hadn't eaten for 5 days (Half day pre-op, on the day of the surgery and then 3 days post op in the ICU)!!! He asked from a neighbour to bring him pasta today. Let's see how he does with that...
Forgot to say... yes, we are now finally relaxing and feel more relaxed and optimistic.
When I was 19 I was once in hospital for weeks after a RTA. I remember someone bringing a little dish of bite size pieces of roast chicken with watercress. It was divine! I weighed just six stone when I got home. I think taking your patient food to tempt him is a really good idea. I'm glad he's on the mend.

Ps Step AWAY from Dr Swoon...
It was my idea to bring him food from home because he claimed that he didn't like the hospital's one. Dr Sexy Swoon gave the thumbs up but then he didn't fancy whatever we proposed to bring him. He finally asked for stuffed vine leaves because he thought that we'd say they are difficult to make but he got busted because I brought him some and he had to eat them, he he.
