I'm from God's own county (Yorkshire) but now live in Northumberland, 2 miles from the coast (almost Scotland, and north of Hadrian's Wall, for those from abroad!). But I have lived in London, Coventry, and Warwickshire - and also for a year in Hawkes Bay NZ when I was five. I can remember the kind of heat we're having now in England, at Christmas in NZ ...

I'm Barbara. Currently living in Newcastle in NSW, Australia - about 180km north of Sydney. Originally from Scotland though and still think of myself as a Scot.

Something is just off about this statement. I thought men shagged sheep due to a shortage of women who are women.

I'm Airi, originally from Finland but have lived in Melbourne Australia for the past 20 years. Before moving here I lived in Malaysia, the Philippines, Switzerland and Germany (and Finland of course, for the first 20+ years of my life). Love Melbourne and think I'm staying put.

Interesting how few of us are in the States, actually kinda cool I think. Most forums I've been on over the years were U.S. based with the occasional member from someplace else. I like the feel of something non U.S. based :-)

Hello fellow Finn Airi! I wondered if you were Finnish based on your name. I've been living in London for the past 12 years but born and raised in Finland. Really miss the lakes during a summer like this.

I love our cosmopolitan range! Brilliant!
I'm from Leics (a county in the middle of England), but now live near the coast of the stunningly beautiful Pembrokeshire in west Wales. I gave up work two years ago and seem to have lived my life as though on holiday... Explains why I'm on this forum!

That would explain your Niiskuneiti icon, Pineneedles! I always get really homesick for Finland this time of year, nightless nights and the best strawberries in the world...

This is a great thread; what an international bunch we are!
