Where in the world are we?
16 Jul 2013, 19:56
Seems we are such an international group here. Most seem to be in the UK., for obvious reasons, but there are quite enough of Us that are all over the world. Let's share!

I'm Diane, I am originally from New York City, NY, USA, but for the last 34 (of my 63 )years or so, I've lived in Orlando, Florida, USA and no I don't know Mickey mouse personally ;-)

Hey! Good idea!

I'm Sophie, I'm 30 and I live in Lyon. I'm french and I've been moving a lot but always in France. (My brother lives in San Francisco ).

5:2 is not famous here and the few web pages I found in french were quite negative or sceptical. Anyway, I love english ! I'm happy to discover this WOE in Shakespeare's language :)

Good luck!!

I think everything in French is quite negative or sceptical by default. :)

I live close to Gothenburg, Sweden. I have lived in the US (Michigan and Vegas) and the UK (London) the majority of my adult life.

For those who haven't done it-the easiest way to show where you come from is to add it to your profile. Then those of us whose memories have not yet improved on this WOL can see at a glance!

I am from Brisbane, Australia originally but haven't lived there for 20 years. I met my Cook Islander husband when I was working in Rarotonga, Cook Islands (in the South Pacific). We have lived in Asia for the past 15 years (Hong Kong, then Singapore, then Hong Kong again). And we are currently in Taiwan for the summer while our kids attend a Chinese summer camp.

Everybody sounds so exotic!

I've lived near Los Angeles since I was 2 years old, grew up in Redondo Beach (many many sunburned and blistered summers, lol) and now live a mile or so from there. My family is from South Dakota and Wyoming so visited there every summer.
