Delighted or Disappointed?

Oh no, I can do without breakfast but there is no way that I can do without dinner.
I am a 3-5 meals lass, I find it hard to skip any meal but I work till late and I need fuel. :-)
Well Done TML on reaching your goal :like: :like: :like: 3-5 meals bloody hell however did you make it to your goal Lol
Enjoy all the festivities for you in Greece right now and your holiday, you know you can repair any damage done afterwards. :clover: Sue
Not big meals, Sue. A piece of fruit, a slice of ham and cheese, a cereal bar... Even my breakfasts are never big, just a couple of biccies.

It is not exactly a holiday but even just going away for a while is better than nothing. I wasn't going to go anywhere this year and a business trip at a nice hotel sounds like heaven! :-)
Aaarrggg I see a little and often, great advice :like: I am learning verrry slowly but evey little helps, yes apples, salads, feta cheese, and vegetables, I'm eating lots more of all these items, so I can see myself eating similar to you way into the future but can see the benefits.
Enjoy all you do and also the lower numbers appearing now and again.  Sue
I know that many people advocate in favour of staying for long periods without food but I am not convinced that this is beneficial in any way except perhaps for weight loss.
I still believe that having more small meals is better than one or two big ones. I might not eat this way currently because weight loss is my priority but seeing how much it messed with my body, I am convinced that it is not the way to go.
Anyway, for now I am only worrying about packing and/or melting under this terrible heat and humidity. It's so hot, that even I can feel it. And -trust me- this doesn't happen very often. :-)
Another update...
After a night of eating and drinking and no 16:8 no gain on the scales this morning. How fab is that?
Well done you  perhaps your body is already getting to some sort of equilibrium, a happy body maybe wonderful :like:
I feel so sorry for you finding it too hot to handle, I get that feeling on my holidays to Greece each May !! couldn't cope any later so now would be intolerable for me that is, but I thought you couldn't get enough of the golden ball, (you know the proverbial lizard)
Get on with the packing then and enjoy your break :clover: Sue
Ah, Sue, I adore the heat and the sun and summer and all but after 5:2 I don't sleep well. I think that it was a combination of heat (the last few days were the hottest of the summer), high humidity and lack of sleep.
Still, nothing that good food and alcohol can't fix. :-)
Congratulations!!

I weigh frequently as well. It just helps me to see evidence that I've lost the weight I have - and that it's not sneaking back on!
Morning peeps!
I'm thrilled! I lost another half a kilo. :-)
It's like my weight took suddenly a downhill road and now I'm really worried that my trip will mess it up. :-(
S'ok TML you've got 1 lb in the bag now ...... all will be well :like: :like:
TML no you won't! It's the magic '16:8 effect' - seen on other threads!

Now you're a believer!

Thanks, girls.

Annie, that's what I was thinking. To be honest, if I gain up to 2 kilos, I will be happy.

Silverdarling, I won't be doing 16:8 while on holiday though...
Wow well done  this WOL never ceases to amaze me, you still here by the way ? Must be that built-in sauna heat with you over there.
Enjoy you break and worry not :like: you're already in credit with the numbers   Sue
Still at home, not very hot today thank God! Mind you, as soon as the temp drops a bit I will be nagging my arse off that I miss the heat ! :-)
I am pretty sure that summer does make a difference. Everytime I do something, inside the house or out, I sweat rivers. That must be good for weight loss, right?
