Yep, I totally want to be size 12 by the summer. And for the first time in about 10 years that might actually be possible! Keep those inspirational stories coming!

Lesley thank you so much for that very useful and motivating information! This week I too have not had breakfast on my fast days so lets see when I weigh myself tomorrow!! I really feel the clothes are loser but there is no proof on the scales, I am going to stick with it as it seems to working for so many of you, so I believe it CAN work for me too....I just seem to have crazy weekends when I over indulge so need to get a bit stricter with myself! :) Happy Friday

Thanks Lesley! I'm aiming for size 12 too (have been aiming for years come to think about it but this year I am going to hit the target). Can't wait for the shopping spree!

Great progress Lesley. I finally lost another lb after nothing for a month and despondency was starting to settle in. The thing that kept me going was inch loss (and I'd urge anyone who hasn't measured this to do so) so I knew it was working. Also at 10 weeks in the fast days so much easier it seems pointless to stop something that isn't difficult to do.

Now into week 17. 19lb lost at last weigh-in.
I couldn't resist shopping last weekend. I bought a new jumper..... Size 12????? OMG... Fits great.

The trousers I found at the back of the wardrobe a few weeks ago are now too big and will have to go. Oh no.. I will have to go shopping again. I need some more trousers for work so will have to give in and buy some more size 14. Not too many though as I want to get down to 12s. (Must look in Primark or Asda.)
Who would have thought it a few months ago that I would be in these lovely small sized clothes.

Yes I really can see me in size 12 shorts this summer.
Oh how I love this 5:2.

Don't think I will be buying green ones, more like black for work! But might get green shorts in a few weeks time though!!

Well. Now week 19 and weighed today. Wow. 2lb off this week. That makes it 22lb total. YES I have made another small goal. One and a half stone off. Whoo whoo. Half way there.
Off to buy those flowers tomorrow.... Or shall I buy a plant for the garden.. One of those that flower every year so I will never forget how good today feels?
Onwards and downwards to the next half stone off.

Not such a fantastic day today.
I lost another 2lb last week which took me to -24lb. That was great. This week I have put 1lb back on and the tape measure is also showing an increase.
I have been good with my food. The only difference has been in my activity level. I am on two different antibiotics and not felt like doing much.
This weight increase was very depressing at first.. But I know it is just a temporary blip and once I get active again things will be different.
So.. Dusting myself down..... Reflecting on how far I have come so far.. And on with 5:2 for the 22nd week.

Weigh day today. Just finished antibiotics yesterday and feeling much better. My activity level has been back to normal this week so I had high hopes for loosing that 1lb I gained last week.

Well just got weighed and..... 2lb lost. YEY.

OMG. That's 25lb gone, just like that. 14 to go.

Yesterday was a funny day. I went through my wardrobe trying on my clothes. I have come to the conclusion that I have very few clothes that actually fit me now. Yes, I am very very happy to be in this position but sad that clothes that I have hardly worn must go. Oh well, the charity shop will gain again so that's a plus.

This week I must hit the shops and buy some smaller clothes. I think it is now time to update my wardrobe and ME. Oooh all those figure showing styles I couldn't buy before!! I will really enjoy trying them on and seeing what I can now wear. Better make sure I have plenty of time as I think I will be spending hours in changing rooms.
