I'm here as usual on a Monday. My weight is up a tad this week following a holiday . Hopefully this is my new high point and it will gradually creep down again if I stay on plan - till the next holiday! ( not yet planned)
I'm in today. I am still carrying the three pound gain from my week in Germany, so I must get myself sorted out before it becomes a permanent fixture! Then it will be back to maintenance before my next foray abroad.
I have chicken legs in a tomato based casserole to look forward to for dinner tonight. It will have to be eaten early because I am out tonight at 6.30pm. This morning I went to Pilates (only my third time) and I am loving it - I never thought that I would ever say that about any form of exercise!
Good luck for today, fellow fasters. Onwards and downwards!
Many thanks for the welcome back everybody, Hi to you @Sallyo and @Sue.Q

It's nearing 11pm here Downunder and I am about to go to bed, however I just wanted to let you know that I survived my first day back and I am so very pleased with myself.

Just had coffee, tea water and a banana during the day then steak and salad for the evening meal.

I went to see a Dietician this morning and we spoke about 5:2 and he gave it his tick of approval. He is looking forward to the challenges of working with my having Diabetes type2, being lactose intolerant, other food sensitivities, having diverticulitis as well as needing to lose weight.

After my appointment, I went for a 30 min walk in the glorious Melbourne Spring sunshine.

Happy Fasting to you all.

cheers Maggie
Well done on putting in a successful fastday @Maggiee :like:

Enjoy today's feed day Maggiee.
  Sue
Am I fasting today??

Well, the voices in my head have been having a bit of a standoff! It really makes so much sense to get a Monday fast under my belt, rather than postponing it til heaven knows when.....but the other side of me has been saying "You don't need to start today....ease yourself in on another day..."

Very pleased to say that sense is currently prevailing and I am with you all today!

Just had my cuppasoup, was sooooooo cheering..tho on nonfast days, i just find them grim!
Well done@stowgateresident on taking up Pilates!
And@hazelnut20 i was smiling about those two voices ..i know them oh so well!
Glad the sensible voice won! X
Lol @Maggiee, I've challenged a dietician a couple if times too. I was a lactating vegetarian trying to lose weight! (I might add that I breastfeed for years, rather than months, so the body was well revovered from birth!)

@Hazelnut20, lol at the two inner voices! I have them too. I think I shall name them.

I got to goal weight today. :victory: I have bounced below it a couple of times over the last 2 weeks, but was agonisingly above it on Mondays, official weigh in day. So, I was spot on 140lbs this morning. (Im 5'9", so 140 is good).

Just lunch time here now. Had a half homemade burger (not veggie now) and celery. Strange mix, but that was what is in the fridge.
Congrats on you goal weight scubachick!
Weigh in for me today was one pound down so moving in right direction.

Mid afternoon here. I've managed to get through despite being very tired after working all weekend. I've made a huge pot of veg soup for later and have done lashings. It's been a lovely day. Swimming lessons after school then home for tea. I'll have a swim too.

A good start to the week. Hope everyone else is having a good day. X
I' m here today and I think I have finally settled On a screen forum name lol. Hopefully people will be patience with me on that. I got an email from work that on Thursday ( my normal fast day) that they are having a catered lunch so I'll be switching that day to Wednesday. I also homeschool our 3 kids and we have doctor apoitments today so that should keep me busy. Have a good day everyone
Hi Roo or should i say@canoegal!
Ive got drs appt today too but not times three ( or is it four!) hope all goes ok x
The doc apts should be easy, just flu vaccines and well checks :like:
I need this fast today after the volume of food yesterday. I'm looking forward to the day when I can completely stop eating when I am full! I am getting much better but still feel that need to clean my plate.
Congratulations, @Scubachick, on reaching your goal weight. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: You must be really slender at 140 pounds and five foot nine inches. I'm only five foot seven inches and have settled on 147 pounds as my goal. Mind you, I'm old enough to be your mother (or grandmother!), so I'm cutting myself some slack. At 65 I would look haggard at 140 pounds. That's what my daughters tell me, anyway, so I chose to listen to them!
Yay @scubachick - fantastically brilliantly well done you!! How thrilling! Many congratulations - I am so pleased for you....and very proud!

140lbs is the stuff of my dreams...so I can just imagine how very chuffed you are! You are an inspiration......xx

:rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
Scooby@scubachick you did it! And youre tall too ,so you must look so willowy now! X
