Goodmorning, Monday fasters.I'm actually looking forward to fasting today. I had fish and chips for dinner last night and it left me feeling bloated. This is something I often read here, but new for me.

Any one who reads my Blog will know that my scales are very dodgy. Anyway, I am going to put it in writing that I hit a weight of 64.7kg on Saturday. This is below my target weight, (65kg). I don't know how seriously to take it, and I haven't logged it on my Progress tracker. The same weigh-in I weighed 68.4, so really!!! Still, I haven't seen that low on the scales before so it's good. I just don't believe it and neither does OH.If I get another weight of below 66kgs, before next Saturday- State Election Day - I'll have met my interim goal.
Its not Monday yet here in UK but I will be glad to be fasting tomorrow ,I am feeling bloated as I have eaten too much,
Well done Sally. I've put my scales away for now.
I'm fasting with you today. I'm being very lazy this morning and having a cuppa in bed. I'll have to get up and go to work soon but as work today will be cleaning and stocktaking in the factory I'm certainly in no rush to get there :frown:
Sally, it sounds like you are moving in the right direction, regardless of dodgy apparatus type thingies. Well done on reaching your target :like: . I'll read your journal too. I am fasting with you and the Monday peeps. Today, I also hit my first interim goal, lost one stone  first time in my life I have lost a stone - what does a stone look like? :?:

My buddy @spanner is getting out of the starting tracks this week after a break - so I'm cheering her on BIG time and everyone who is fasting Monday :clover: :clover: :like:

I will be fasting when it's Monday in the UK. I just worked out my calories for today and it's nearly 3000 I couldn't believe it I thought I ate reasonably sensible. I had already planned on a zero calorie fast. Good job!!!!
I can tell you what 5 kilos looks like: a big bag of flour which you need a supermarket trolley to cart around. 2 of them is less weight than I've lost on the 5:2 diet. I can't remember what a stone looks like.
Goodness, gracious me - lost a big bag of flour and gained so much more. Really puts it into perspective - I don't want to carry a bag of flour round with me. Half thought Moogie might come out with the slabs of fat, flour works just as well. Thanks Sally. Take care.
@Sallyo, congrats! Even if your scales aren't kind, you must be the first person to fast and keep successfully to a WOE while campaigning for election! Good luck on both counts!! Thinking of you for election day!

Yes, I'm in today too - overdue for many things, including exercise, so wish me luck catching up!
I shall be joining in in the morning - need it after our calorielicious East Anglia meetup and having indulged in some of @WendyDarling's choccy this evening!
SHouldn't be too hard jool7, all those horrible sausage sizzles
I'm in today too, last day before flying back to Melbourne tomorrow. Can't come soon enough!
Good luck all.
I'm definitely in after my 3 day birthday celebration! :)
Hello everybody

Yes I'm in as well today being Monday.

We had a lovely family gathering yesterday and I had lots of yummy (but naughty for me) food. It was so nice sitting outside under the stars, being with family and enjoying the chitchat and being with our delightful granddaughter.

Have a good Fast day everybody

cheers Maggie
I'm fitting in this fast while I can. If you've been reading the Chatterbox you'll know that my sister has just had emergency cardiac surgery so I'll be caught up with family stuff till who knows when. Hoping her trouble is not genetic but being overweight definitely is and I'll keep trying to change it!
Yes, I read that Chook, I hope she is out of danger. ANother reason to keep your weight down isn't it? Less strain on the heart I guess.
Congrats Sallyo, you have done so well!
And Chook, thinking of you and sending best wishes for your sister.
I've done my laps, proud of myself each time I swim the kilometre. I've never been athletic so to reach a goal in any sport is a new feeling.
Fasting with no cals till 6ish.
Have a good day everyone.
